    Last Sunday, Thermopolis Wrestling Club members competed at the annual Casper Showdown Tournament. In a field of 48 teams, Thermopolis, placed fourth, scoring 417 team points behind the much larger Casper teams who took home the top 3 spots. This weekend the club will host their annual Wrestle-opolis event with wrestling to take place at the high school on Friday evening and Saturday.     It has been a long season for the Hot Springs County High School Lady Cat wrestlers, a season which has seen a wealth of success for the team’s five grapplers. Last weekend, the team was in Powell for the 2A West Regional Tournament, an event to determine which wrestlers would qualify to compete this week at the state championships. Coming into the week, the Cats were undefeated in the 2A Northwest Conference, with a record of 5-0.     Bobcat wrestling was busy last week with a dual at home on Thursday and then a trip to Riverton on Friday and Saturday for the annual Ron Thon Memorial Tournament. Last Thursday night the team hosted the first of their two home duals of the season, matching up with the Panthers of Powell. The Cats are thin in numbers this year and consequently they give up a lot of open weights in a dual.     The Hot Springs County High School Bobcats were on the road last weekend facing 2A Northwest foe Rocky Mountain on Friday night, and then matching up with Class 3A Lovell on Saturday.
