    The Hot Springs County High School boys basketball team played host to the Big Horn Basin Classic Tournament this past weekend. The varsity Cats came into the tournament at 6 and 2 for their efforts so far this season. With all ten players sitting in double-digits in points, Thermopolis was set to make a respectable showing in the contest.     The Hot Springs County High School girls basketball team traveled to Powell this past weekend to compete in the Big Horn Basin Classic. The ladies played hard and came away with a win and a loss. On Friday, the varsity Lady Cats were up against the 2A team from Greybull. The Buffs put on a good show, however, it was not enough for the victorious team from Thermopolis who pulled away to a 56-35 win.     Members of the Thermopolis Wrestling Club were presented the Don Voorhees Sportsmanship Award at the Brandon Delzer Memorial Wrestling Tournament in Sturgis, S.D. on January 7.     Last weekend, the Hot Springs County High School Bobcat wrestling teams traveled to Pavillion to compete in the Don Runner Memorial Tournament. Due to weather concerns, the event was parred to a single day on Friday. In the Friday contests, both the varsity and JV teams put up impressive wins against Glenrock, topping their opponents by scores of 64 to 42 and 52 to 34, respectively. The Lady Cats JV team played three games over the course of as many days last week, ending 2 and 1 for their effort.
