The Thermopolis-Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce annual Demolition Derby took over the Hot Springs County Fairgrounds last Saturday. In the main event, JR Ramsey drove his way to first place to take home $3,000. Jordan Martin was second winning $1,500, Wyatt Ramsey was third winning $800 and Dusty Watts was fourth. Hot Springs County High School Bobcat Wrestlers opened their season in Wheatland last Friday. Eleven eligible wrestlers competed in three duals. The Thermopolis Cowboy Rendezvous PRCA Rodeo has been canceled for 2020 due to COVID-19 health orders. The rodeo was scheduled for the last weekend in June.
