The Thermopolis Middle School Student Council honored those who served in the military for Veterans Day at the Bill Malloy Auditorium on November 11. CEO Garry Freel is retiring from Big Horn Enterprises (BHE) after being associated with them for around 32 years. Freel started out as a case manager in August 1989, then a year later he became the director of rehab. In 1994, Freel left BHE for three years to work at the Children's Center. Newly appointed interim Thermopolis Chief of Police Pat Cornwell started his career in Park County at the Cody jail in 1994, where he worked for five years. At the July 6 Hot Springs County Commissioners meeting, Hot Springs County Clerk Rose DeSeyn submitted her resignation. Her last day in the office will be July 30.
