    Two events will be held at the Thermopolis Middle School on Saturday, Nov. 20 There will be the Chair-ity / Christmas Tree Auction, a benefit for the People for People Backpack Program, held in the Commons area.     Brian Parker is the new Recreation Center Director. He is 25 years old and recently moved from Connecticut, where he was a college student in recreation management and a personal trainer.     The People for People program and other local volunteers will be preparing Thanksgiving meals this year. However, they will not have eat-in meals at Holy Trinity Church. They will be preparing the food, packaging and delivering the meals to their People for People families and anyone that needs a meal.     A fundraiser Cookie Jar Auction for Lauri Olsen will be held Friday, Nov. 12 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Hot Springs County Fairgrounds. In early July, Olsen was diagnosed with Stage IV pancreatic cancer, which has metastasized to the liver. She is being treated at the Billings Clinic.
