    Public input is being sought by the Bureau of Land Management regarding an environmental assessment (EA) which analyzes a proposed bentonite mining project located in Hot Springs County. Wyo-Ben, Inc. proposes to amend bentonite mining and concurrent reclamation of its 108T plan of operations on public land approximately five miles northwest of Thermopolis.     Firefighters respond to a grass fire on Black Mountain Road shortly before noon Monday.     A motion to dismiss a lawsuit against the Tri-County Telephone Association (TCT) has been taken under advisement by Ninth Judicial District Court Judge Norman E. Young after a three hour long hearing in Lander on Friday, Sept. 23.     Tuesday evening, the Thermopolis Town Council approved the second reading of an ordinance regarding fees for construction and demolition trash and the disposal of tires. Prior to approving the second reading, the resolution was amended to include language stating an appropriate permit must be paid for in advance.     On Sunday at 9:48 a.m., the Thermopolis Volunteer Fire Department was called out to respond to a grass fire near mile marker 8 on Highway 120.     This week, the draft Region 6 multi-hazard disaster mitigation plan is being reviewed at the Wyoming Office of Homeland Security. A public comment period on the draft was conducted Aug. 30-Sept. 7.
