    A total of five people have been arrested on drug-related felony charges, with one bust believed by Hot Springs County Sergeant Deputy Jeremie Kraushaar to be the biggest in the county for meth. Kraushaar reported he had received information previously that Tyler Kihlstrom was returning from Utah with a large quantity of methamphetamine.     A case against Mark Danis has been bound over to Hot Springs District Court. Danis faces charges of felony aggravated assault and battery with a deadly weapon and misdemeanor domestic battery. The charges stem from an alleged July 25 incident, when a Thermopolis Police officer responded to a disturbance at the residence of Danis and Pedro “Peter” Diaz.     The Wyoming Transportation Commission has awarded a contract for $972,895 to Mountain Construction Co., of Lovell, for a left-turn lane on US 20 between Thermopolis and Worland in Hot Springs County by Oct. 31, 2019.     Hot Springs County has been covered in a cloud of smoke for many days now, and folks are wondering where its coming from. Fires burning along the West Coast, specifically California, are what is causing the haze hanging around town.
