The Thermopolis Volunteer Fire Department held their annual elections Tuesday night with Mark Collins retaining his position as fire chief. Assisting him will be Bryce Gilbert, assistant chief, captain Brandon Blakesley, first lieutenant Dale Andreen, second lieutenant Jay Erk, treasurer Forest Coleman-Weisz and secretary London Jenks. Kenneth R. Rogers Jr. was sentenced to 4-8 years with the Wyoming Department of Corrections after entering an Alford plea to one count of Sexual Assault of a Minor in the Third Degree, a felony.
