The crash south of Thermopolis on Friday, June 18, that led to the road closure of US20/WY789 between Shoshoni and Thermopolis in Wind River Canyon, reportedly resulted in a fatality and an injured person. According to the Wyoming Highway Patrol crash report, a pickup was southbound on US 20, when the driver attempted to pass another southbound vehicle.
