    Woman charged with hit-and-run in Cody CODY (WNE) — Jennifer Christen Phillips, 40, of Cody, pleaded not guilty Friday to hit-and-run charges after she allegedly struck an 11-year-old on a bicycle. Jennifer Beamer, Early Childhood, Ralph Witters Elementary Beamer taught 1st grade in Laramie, Wyoming, at Linford Elementary for eight years.     Squaw Teat Butte is the only geographic location in Hot Springs County included on the U.S. Department of Interior’s list of 643 federal geographical locations nationwide and 41 on Wyoming federal lands that have been assigned new names that include the word “Squaw.” The new name is Sugar Butte.
