Daniel Calvin Gandy

Daniel Calvin Gandy, 40, passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2025, in Winchester, Va.

Danny was born July 28, 1985, in Rock Springs, Wyo., to Calvin B. Gandy and Esther Snively Gandy. He married Christina Lowery on September 22, 2023.

He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved Wyoming and everything from a campfire surrounded by family to recreational fishing and shooting. He had a special talent when it came to music and loved to play his guitar and sing country music in several bands with his dad. Danny was the perfect embodiment of a family man. His favorite place to be was surrounded by his family.

He is survived by his wife, Christina Lowery; children, Hayden and Mason Gandy and his unborn son; parents, Calvin and Esther Gandy; sisters, Mary German and Sara Schmall; nieces, Aubrey and Kayleigh German, Noah, Abby, Sydney and Emily Schmall; grandfather, John Snively; and many cousins, numerous friends and extended family.

He was proceeded in death by his brother, Bruce Gandy; and his daughter, Amelia Gandy.

A celebration of life will be held this summer.
