    The Thermopolis Town Council worked through their Tuesday meeting with an expedited precision, taking care of business in a short amount of time.     House District 28 Representative Nathan Winters has been busy during the Wyoming Legislature going on in Cheyenne. According to Winters, 170 separate pieces of legislation were brought to the House of Representatives this year. A number of past board presidents attended the meeting to assist with voting for Citizen of the Year, Business of the Year and Nonprofit Organization of the Year.     Althea Adeline (Smail) Brookshire, 104, passed away Feb. 10, 2016, at Beatrice Hover Assisted Living in Longmont, Colo. She was born March 12, 1911, in Andrew, Iowa, the daughter of John Smail and Cleo (Van Meter) Smail. She spent her childhood in Iowa, graduating from high school in 1930. She came to Wyoming in 1931 and worked at various jobs during the depression. She had fond memories of working at the Savarsey Bakery and the Padlock Ranch.     Walter Erskine Boulware, 84, of Cody, passed away at West Park Long Term Care Center on Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016, with his wife and family at his side. Walter was born to Cecil Boulware and Edith “Dolly” Erskine Boulware at the family ranch home on the Greybull River, west of Meeteetse on May 31, 1931. He was raised and went to school in Meeteetse.     The Bureau of Reclamation has made their forecast for the runoff in the up coming months of April through July. Basing the forecast on a 30 year average, the Boysen Reservoir and the snowmelt runoff for the Wind River are below the average. Boysen is currently at 78 percent capacity. The April-July inflow to the reservoir is forecasted at 350,000 acre feet, which is 64 percent of the 30 year average of 548,300 acre feet. The following information was gained from the Law Enforcement Center and breaks down dispatch calls for 2015. The county brand inspector responded to eight livestock calls.     When it comes to dinosaurs, their enormous stature sometimes comes to mind. This little dinosaur is on the other end of the spectrum. Lori, the smallest dinosaur found in Wyoming, was discovered ironically next to the largest dinosaur found in Wyoming. The new species, the size of a magpie, was dug up from a quarry in Douglas, Wyoming.     The Lady Cats girl's basketball team took the game early Friday and never relented, wining against Burlington 46-33. The girls had a lot more shot attempts due to the huge discrepancy in turnovers and offensive rebounds.
