Broadway Bakery has "soft-opened" at their downtown location of 509 Broadway Street. According to owner Sarah Slagle, their current hours are from 7:30-11 a.m., seven days a week. Glenn Dunbach, a retired science teacher of 41 years, is collaborating with the community to raise funds to donate new coats to students in need. Dunbach and his wife Krista moved to Thermopolis in 2021 and they were looking for ways to help the community. The Hot Springs County Fair Board and Recreation Board are moving forward to install a digital sign at the fairgrounds in the same location as their previous sign.
