    At their second July meeting, the Hot Springs County Commissioners heard from Les Culliton who presented two bids for the Law Enforcement Center plumbing project. One was from Rawhide Mechanical Plumbing in Cody for a total of $330,124. The other was from GW Mechanical from Mills for $284,100. According to the bid documentation, the project involves work for a base bid intake shower room and plumbing in the ceiling.   • Farm Service Agency accepting emergency program applications

    U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA) Executive Director CED Lisa Bower today announced that Hot Springs County is accepting applications for the Emergency Conservation Program (ECP) to address damages from flooding. ECP Signup will begin on August 4th, 2023 and end on September 8th, 2023. The approved ECP practices under this authorization include fence repair, fence replacement, debris removal and minor irrigation structure repairs for structures not located on a streambed or a streambank.     RYTE Rehabilitation held its open house on July 27 in celebration of their new rehabilitation center location at 900 Shoshoni Street. They had a raffle drawing and served hors d'oeuvres and drinks. Owned by Dr. Ryan and Dr. Tess Williams, they moved from their previous downtown location, which was about 1,500 square feet, to the newly remodeled center, which is about 2,500 square feet.     Ten teams competed in the highly competitive Ranch Rodeo on Saturday. When the dust settled, Cordingly's Horses, consisting of team members Mat Cordingly, Abel Cordingly, Cole Kadrie, Sam Marvel and Porter McCumber, came out with a first place finish.
