Participating businesses will be providing tickets to their customer for purchases made starting at Moonlight Madness, October 27. The excitement in the room was contagious Friday evening at the VFW as hunters from around Wyoming and the United States were matched up with local guides in anticipation of their Saturday antelope hunt in Hot Springs County. For the third annual Oktobrewfest, all was in preparation the evening before. Donations are being accepted for a benefit yard sale for Shawn Goodman who was seriously injured in an accident on Sept. 14 in the Bighorn Mountains. All proceeds from the sale will go to the family to help with medical expenses. This weekend, 10 disabled veterans from across the United States will come to Thermopolis VFW Post 2281 to do some antelope hunting, through the Hunting with Heroes program. Though the hunt doesn't begin until Saturday, the veterans should begin arriving Friday afternoon.
