  • Senior center sees increase in cinnamon roll sales

    The fall cinnamon roll fundraiser at the Hot Springs County Senior Center wrapped up earlier this month, and director, Lisa Pierce, said it went amazingly well and a total of 219 dozen rolls were sold. The total is up from 209 dozen at this time a year ago. The money brought in from the sales totals about $4,000, Pierce said, which will go to keeping the doors open and the lights on at the center. The Thermopolis Town Council chose to order the equipment in August, after a slide on the old equipment was damaged and determined unsafe to use.
