    The annual Keys to the City promotion, which was slated to begin last month, is anticipated to begin Dec. 5. During the event, travelers who stay at Thermopolis hotels are provided key chains, which in turn provide those visitors with a variety of discounts at participating businesses.     Outside Thermopolis is the Set Free Church's recovery program, offering help for those who have fallen as the result of drugs and/or alcohol. Karen Robbins of the church/ministry explained there are people who come who are not addicted; they are simply interested in serving and helping those who have addictions.   • Community Church hosts sale, plans play

    The Community Federated Church will host a sale of cookies, candy and gently used shoes, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12 at the church. Those attending the sale can fill a container with delicious homemade cookies, candy and more, choosing as much as they like of whatever they like for only $8 per pound.   • Judges needed for speech tournament

    On Saturday, Dec. 10, the Bobcat Speech and Debate team will be holding their annual Bobcat Invitational Speech Tournament. If anyone in the community is interested in judging for the tournament, there is no experience required. A short training session will be held that morning to explain the various events and what you need to look for as a judge. There are nine teams registered for the meet.
