Bobcat golfers head into home stretch of their season

Great showing at home and on the road

Head coach Brandon Deromedi said the Bobcat Golf Team had another good showing this weekend at Thermopolis and Lovell.

The team was in Lovell on Friday and Hardy Johnson placed third for the day, shooting a solid 77.

He was followed by Seth Weyer (97), Hadley Johnson (99), Kyle Roessing (100), Will Clark (102), Lee Grim (107), Owen McCumber (118), Spencer Calhoun (119), Jean-Luc Wilson (129), Tyler Chrisien (139) and rounding out the field, Carson Williams (153).

Maddie Stam had a great day on the links, placing third with a 102 on the day.

The team was at home on Saturday where Hardy Johnson placed second with a 74.

Stam again placed third for her round, the only Lady Bobcat on the team.

Other scores included Hadley Johnson (86), Clark (87), Grim (89). Roessing (95), Weyer (96), McCumber (107), Williams (107), Calhoun (113), Wilson (129) and Chrisien (133).

Overall, the boys placed third for the weekend with Worland taking first and Cody placing second.

"They are showing improvement on their scores," coach Deromedi said. "We are on the back half of our season already and are in a good position for the home stretch."

The team is in Buffalo on Thursday, Sept. 3 with a tee off time of noon.
