Council grants catering permits

The December 17 Thermopolis Town Council meeting was very short with only a few items to approve or discuss.

The council agreed to two catering permits for Shorty’s Liquor for Ducks Unlimited for the fairgrounds on January 10 and 11 from 5-11 p.m.

The council and the mayor had some discussion on a request to move the police impound yard from the Armory, culling deer, the ice skating rink and nuisance tickets for snow on heavily traveled sidewalks. No action was taken.

The next meeting will be Tuesday, Jan. 7 at 7 p.m. at town hall.
