Coming off a close loss to Newcastle in week zero, the team was geared up to get the new year under way. The Hot Springs County High School Bobcat golf teams were in Riverton last week to play in their next-to-last regular season tournament. The teams will travel to Lander on Friday, September 12, to play a tournament with Lander Valley, Kemmerer and Ten Sleep. For the second year in a row, the Hot Springs County High School Bobcats traveled to Buffalo last week to face off with the Dogies of Newcastle for a week zero clash. Last year the Cats earned a win on the final play of the game, with a touchdown pass to Ryan Arends in the end zone. Hot Springs State Park has a frisbee/disc golf course just north of the Chamber of Commerce building that is open year-round for play. For those interested in playing for free, stop by the Chamber to pick up discs. The frisbee golf course is 9 holes. Every hole on the course is a par three.
