What looked like blue paint was found in several areas of rock near the entrance to the buffalo pasture from Warm Springs Road. The outdoor pool at the Wyoming State Bath House will be closed at the end of June for approximately 10 days. According to State Park Superintendent Kevin Skates, the pool needs to be drained and repaved now as the material they’re using needs to cure. “It has to be done during the Summer,” Skates said. Because the resurfacing needs consistent temperatures, the work can’t be done easily at other times during the year. And while the indoor pool will remain open while resurfacing takes place, it’s a modest attraction compared to the draw the...

Things are going to get “shook up” a little at Hot Springs County High School next fall with some changes Principal Scott Shoop reported to the School Board at their meeting last Thursday night. This sometimes created issues with students being tar...

As the chairman of the House Labor, Health and Social Services committee,... Full story
