    The Farmers and Artisans Market is kicking off this Saturday, June 21 and will run through October 4. The market is located on 5th Street west of Bicenntenial Park and is open from 8 a.m. to noon. Last year the market operated under the auspices of the Red Dirt Master Gardeners organization.     Due to repairs needed on the Little Hot Springs bridge in Hot Springs State Park, the Broadway Street bridge will remain open when bridge repairs begin on Monday, June 16. The meeting was conducted at the Kiwanis Shelter, in Hot Springs State Park, and was followed by a picnic.     The Thermopolis Town Council met on June 3 for their first regular meeting for the month of June. Much of the meeting was taken up with citizen participation, where local citizens appeared to voice their concerns, or their support, for allowing fireworks to be used within the Town limits on the Fourth of July.     The Hot Springs County Commissioners met on June 3 for their first regular meeting in June. The commissioners were asked to approve the filing of a Satisfaction of Judgment in the District Court case in which the Tipi Retreat and its owners were ordered by the court to pay fines to the county for their violation of the county’s land use regulations.
