Following a bench trial Friday, Judge Robert E. Skar found Paul Mathewson guilty of fraud against a government record. According to the charge, on June 23 a bond conditions form was provided for Mathewson to sign, with a set amount of $2,000. Hot Springs County’s 4-H is gearing up for the 3rd Annual Chili Dinner and Dessert Auction on Saturday, March 11. Everyone is invited to the fairgrounds for a free chili and soup dinner at 6 p.m. and are encouraged to stay for the silent and live auction dessert event to raise funds for the 4-H program. A variety of desserts will be made by 4-H members and their families, so there is sure to be something to satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth.
