    Daniel L. Ford and Samantha V. Vandervort have been bound over to Hot Springs County District Court on charges against them. Among other counts, both are facing charges related to drugs.     The Hot Springs County Commissioners made a choice for funding of the proposed new enhanced 9-1-1 system at their meeting on Tuesday afternoon.     Daniel Webber has announced to the Hot Springs County Republican Central Committee that he intends to file for election to the office of county assessor. He has worked in the assessor’s office since December of 2004, serving as assessor since January 2018 when he was appointed to the position.     During the regular monthly meeting of Hot Springs Travel and Tourism, Director Amanda Moeller reported they had received another high deposit of lodging tax receipts for the 2017-18 fiscal year. The May deposit was $12,890.73, compared to $7,913.54 this time last fiscal year. The deposit put the receipts for the fiscal year at five percent, or $8,460.29, higher than this time last year.     The body of 66-year-old David E. Cathey was found at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, May 3 in the Sand Draw area around Gebo.
