The Starpower Regional Dance Competition was held on March 1-2 in Gillette at the Cam-Plex Center. Tom and Jessie Ream's Double R Store located at 901 Shoshoni Street is open for the 2025 season. They originally started the business as a trial run on August 1 of last year and closed down at the end of October. Now they are open for their first full season as of March 13. The Double R Store serves as a sandwich shop and a supply store for fishermen getting on the river. The Hot Springs County High School Speech and Debate Team's long and impressive 2024-2025 season closed with a third place trophy finish in 1A/2A at the Wyoming Speech and Debate Tournament at Cheyenne South High School in Cheyenne on March 13, 14, and 15.
