The number of deer seen in town will start to decrease as the Thermopolis Police Department begins it’s regular culling of the animals. Shortly before 11 a.m. Wednesday morning, the jury in the case against Tony Cercy returned a verdict of guilty on the felony count of third-degree sexual assault. Among the continuing issues in town is the number of stray cats and dogs seen roaming the streets and alleys. Mathern started in July of 1989 as the Director of Diagnostic Imaging, a position he has held the whole time he was with the hospital.
