On August 20, a local group, calling themselves Concerned Leaders of Hot Springs County, Wyoming, filed two Petitions in the District Court of Hot Springs County. In each petition, the petitioners sought removal of a county Commissioner in Hot Springs County. The board took up a number of matters, including resignations by board member, Justin Budd and maintenance/custodial director Jared Jeffs. Rise from the Ashes, a charity basketball tournament is planned for Sunday, Sept. 14 with games beginning at 10 a.m. at the Thermopolis Middle School gym.
