    Due to repairs needed on the Little Hot Springs bridge in Hot Springs State Park, the Broadway Street bridge will remain open when bridge repairs begin on Monday, June 16.     The Thermopolis-Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce, met for their annual meeting on June 12. The meeting was conducted at the Kiwanis Shelter, in Hot Springs State Park, and was followed by a picnic. Chamber Director, Meri Ann Dorman, opened the meeting with a discussion on the annual Gift of the Waters Parade, which is scheduled for August 2, at 10 a.m. The theme of the parade is “United we Stand.” Registration forms can be found online on the Chamber’s website, or can be obtained at the Chamber office.     The Thermopolis Town Council met on June 3 for their first regular meeting for the month of June. Much of the meeting was taken up with citizen participation, where local citizens appeared to voice their concerns, or their support, for allowing fireworks to be used within the Town limits on the Fourth of July.     The Hot Springs County Commissioners met on June 3 for their first regular meeting in June. The commissioners were asked to approve the filing of a Satisfaction of Judgment in the District Court case in which the Tipi Retreat and its owners were ordered by the court to pay fines to the county for their violation of the county’s land use regulations.     According to Wyoming Department of Transportation resident engineer Kelly Erickson of Thermopolis, the Broadway Bridge construction project has been delayed to a planned start date of June 16. Due to weather delays on other projects, this project has also been set back.
