Hot Springs Health (HSH) has two new disinfectant machines called Tru-D. Zack Brink from HSH's housekeeping department, Bridget Truempler, the director of nursing and Trina Slover, the director of surgical services presented Tru-D in a demonstration. Brink will clean a patient's room upon their exit where they remove the trash liners and linen because Tru-D only works on hard surfaces. Hot Springs Health (HSH) held its June 29 board meeting and in the growth report, CEO Margie Molitor said they received their ACR accreditation. Also at the recent rodeo event, HSH was a gate sponsor. Molitor also said Dr. Hazel, an orthopedic surgeon, will hopefully start the third week of July. At the July 6 Hot Springs County Commissioners meeting, Hot Springs County Clerk Rose DeSeyn submitted her resignation. Her last day in the office will be July 30. The fireworks show in Thermopolis has been canceled.
