Love Local is Main Street’s way of helping promote businesses in the county. Two individual athletes, a special contributor, and a team were recognized and inducted. This year marks the 15th Class of Hall of Fame Inductees. The annual Backpack Program Fundraiser will be at the Thermopolis Middle School on Saturday, November 18, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. The event will be in conjunction with the craft sale in the gym. This year the theme is “Everything Christmas”. Event organizer Judy Carswell said participants can decorate anything in the style of Christmas from trees, chairs, wreaths, birdhouses, and anything they want to do. Hot Springs County Sheriff’s Office personnel will be serving a Community Breakfast on Saturday, October 7 from 7-11 a.m. at the Hot Springs County Senior Center, 206 Senior Avenue.
