    A Relay for Life fundraiser will be held at the VFW on Saturday, Dec. 5 featuring vendors, food and fun for the whole family. The fundraiser is for the Relay for Life being planned for August 12, 2016. The craft fair will feature 27 vendors of fine and handmade goods, pictures with Santa from 10 a.m.-noon and lunch available for purchase.     Sign up sheets for the annual Elf Tree are available at the H.O.P.E Agency at 426 Big Horn Street or the Department of Family Services at 403 Big Horn Street. Parents of children ages newborn to seventeen must have their slips signed and returned to either of the two agencies no later than Monday, Dec. 14 to be included on the tree. The money raised from the cookbook will be used for the class to take a field trip to Jackson Hole, where they will get to experience the world of culinary preparation and service. The clothing drive has been set up for people to donate their clean, gently used clothing before Thursday, Dec. 10.     The Thermopolis-Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce has a blessing tree located outside of their office located at 220 Park Street. Citizens wishing to place a blessing on the tree can stop by the office during regular business hours (Mon.-Sat. 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Sun. 10 a.m.-3 p.m.) to pick up a red tag.
