Twice as nice

Obstetrics lead registered nurse RoxAnne Arnett presents two new fetal heart monitors during the Chamber Meet and Greet at the Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital. In October 2014, the Hospital Foundation Board challenged the community to raise half of the $30,000 needed to purchase a new fetal heart monitor, and in just over a year residents raised more than $17,000 for the purchase of one of the state-of-the-art machines. Arnett surprised those in attendance when she revealed the hospital was able to purchase two of the machines with the money raised.
