Glenn Bishop, Marion Bishop and T.J. Schoenewald participated in the State Senior Olympics Aug. 5 and 6 in Sheridan. Twenty-two states were represented in the 22 different sports available. A robotics camp originally scheduled for Aug. 15-18 will now be held Saturday, Sept. 10. The Hot Springs County Airport will be hosting a fly-in and free pancake breakfast from 7-11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13. Airport Operator Nate Messenger said everyone is welcome. “We’re trying to bring some traffic in and bring in the public to see some aircraft,” he said. The Boys Scouts of America Troop 5020 will be washing cars Saturday at the Hot Springs County High School drop off, 231 Park Street, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Washes are priced at $15, with full detailing available for $30. The Gift of the Waters Pageant Days begin at 6 p.m. Aug. 6-7 at Hot Springs State Park. This year will celebrate the 120th year since the signing of the treaty. The treaty was signed on April 21, 1986 by Chief Washakie of the Shoshones and Chief Sharp Nose of the Arapaho at Fort Washakie.
