    Hot Springs County’s 4-H members are hosting the 3rd Annual Chili Dinner and Dessert Auction on Saturday, March 11. Everyone is invited to the fairgrounds for a free chili and soup dinner at 6 p.m. and are encouraged to stay for the silent and live auction dessert event to raise funds for the 4-H program. A variety of desserts will be made by 4-H members and their families, so there is sure to be something to satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth.     Thermopolis will be the site of the premiere performance of a musical piece composed by Janet Ahlquist, internationally recognized classical pianist, who grew up in Thermopolis and now lives in Pennsylvania. On Tuesday, March 7, Thermopolis native Janet Ahlquist will perform alongside one of her students, Andre Bohren.     Students from Thermopolis Middle School recently competed at Northwest College in Powell in the Mathcounts program, both individually and as a team. The 10 students competed against Lander, Lovell, and Powell in four different rounds, the Sprint, Target, Team and Countdown.     The Hot Springs County Senior Citizens Center is currently taking orders for cinnamon rolls. Executive Director Chanda Waddell said the rolls will be made on two Saturdays — March 4 and 11 — and Monday, March 13.     Adiposse-WYTU, a sub-chapter of the Wyoming Trout Unlimited group, did a clean up of the Bighorn River on Saturday from the Wedding of the Waters to the Kirby Ditch access area.     Last weekend, the Bobcat Robotics teams Fist Full of Axles and Aluminati travelled to Casper to compete in the Wyoming State Championship.
