    The Thermopolis Town Council met for its second regular monthly meeting on October 21. Stephanie Boren appeared and requested that the council allow fireworks to be used at the last regular season home football game at Leroy Hayes Field on Friday, October 26 and at the home playoff game on October 31. After some discussion of the historical use of such displays at home games, it was agreed by all council members to allow fireworks for the two home games, as well as at all future varsity home games.     The Hot Springs County High School Bobcats and Lady Cats cross country teams traveled to Cheyenne last weekend to compete in the Class 2A State Finals. Last September, the harriers season had begun at the Wyoming Invitational in Cheyenne and the teams were looking to better their previous times on the course at Little America.
