    It is time to get your team together and get registered for this year’s Hot City Summer Slam 3-on-3 tournament, May 26 and 27. Hosted by the Bobcat Booster Club with all proceeds going to Bobcat Athletics, the tournament is held in the high school parking lot.     Josh Schmidt, a former U.S. Marine and veterans service officer from the Wyoming Veterans Commission, will conduct community outreach services in Wyoming cities through February, with two stops in Thermopolis this month.     Hot Springs County High School students will be celebrating prom on Saturday, May 5. As it falls on Cinco de Mayo, the prom committee decided on a Cinco de Mayo theme and added some new things to the traditional rite of spring.     Hot Springs County High School students brought home 14 blue ribbons from the 50th Wyoming High School Art Symposium, as well as the school's first ever Congressional Award, won by Stormy Cox. Only 24 pieces from the 5,000 submitted are chosen for a Congressional Award. In addition, Cox's work will be transported to Cheyenne and displayed in the capitol building over the summer.
