Wyo Laffs Comedy will hold a family-friendly show benefiting the Hot Springs Foundation at the Thermopolis VFW Saturday, January 29. The Hot Springs County Sheriff’s Office has been handling several fraud cases and wants to help educate the public to be aware of fraud scams before they become a victim. Deputy Casey Freund has been involved in four fraud cases so far this year and, depending on the case, has been collaborating with the FBI in their investigations. Charlie and Kim Smith recently opened a new cafe restaurant at the stoplight, the 7 Lazy S Cafe. It’s located in the old Elle’s Restaurant and Bar/Thermopolis Cafe location at 109 South 6th Street.
