Local events coming up to celebrate the season

Several local event are coming up to help celebrate the Christmas season.

Get an early start in celebrating by signing up for the Lighted Christmas Parade. The deadline is November 28. The Lighted Christmas Parade will be on December 2 at 6 p.m.

The Thermopolis-Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce encourages people to sign up now as you make plans for the design of your float. It’s time to enjoy the Christmas spirit together as a community and join together for fun. The parade’s route is the same as the Gift of Waters. It starts on Senior Avenue, past the Post Office, turning to the flagpole, then turning around at the turning lane at the stoplight (not the intersection), and finishes on Broadway. The Chamber is also working on getting Santa and Mrs. Clause to come and have the opportunity for photos afterwards. Get ready for some winter fun and season’s greetings here in Thermopolis.

The Chamber is holding its 2023 Merry Christmas Market were participants can shop locally starting the week of November 24 for the possibility of winning $250 in Chamber Bucks.. Participants turn in their receipt to the Chamber of Commerce.
