Help make Christmas special for all, Elf tree up at Storyteller

Christmas is right around the corner and it’s time again to call on the community to help make Christmas special for all Hot Springs County residents. Safe Haven of Hot Springs County has started taking applications for the annual Elf Tree.

Families in Hot Springs County that could use help putting presents under the tree can pick up and turn in applications at Safe Haven, located at 316 Broadway St., #4. Applications are also being accepted at the Department of Family Services, 403 Big Horn St.

Applications will be accepted from now until December 11.

The Elf tree will be on display at Storyteller through December 18. All gifts must be returned to Safe Haven or Storyteller by 5 p.m. on Monday, December 18.

Packages need to be wrapped and clearly marked with the Elf Tag and the number from the Elf Tag.

You can also make a donation in someone’s name and they will receive a card with the following message, “A donation has been made in your name to support the Elf Tree of Hot Springs County. Giving is a gift in itself. Thank you, S.H. Team.”

Donations will be accepted at Safe Haven
