Get ready for the great pumpkin hunt

Range will hold the third annual Great Pumpkin Hunt in Thermopolis on October 23-27. Be the one to find the Great Pumpkin and win the Grand Prize.

Range will be hiding the Great Pumpkin (a real pumpkin decorated with the Range logo) at a location somewhere in Thermopolis. Get the daily clue by visiting their Facebook page @RangeConnected.

Range Marketing Manager Linda Weeks said they are holding six different pumpkin hunts in the greater region. In Thermopolis, last year’s hunt they had prizes totaling just over $5,700. This year’s Grand Prize is valued at more than $6,600.

If you find the Great Pumpkin, bring it to Range at 338 Broadway St. in Thermopolis and claim the Grand Prize. Some of the prizes include $1,110 one year free Ultra Internet Service plus GigaSpire Blast, a $500 gift certificate from Kirby Creek Tannery, a $500 one-night stay at The Tipi Retreat, a $400 Live Your West Life Camping Bundle, a $310 gift certificate for detailing at Precision Detailing, and many more.

Weeks said, “The big thing about our pumpkin hunt is that the whole community, our business community, comes together to help make this happen. They contribute a prize from their store or business in order to make this prize package as large as possible. So that one lucky person who pays attention to the clues and figures it out can win this amazing prize. It’s just we have so many vendors from so many businesses and families that have participated in this.”

Range will provide one clue each day for the pumpkin’s location, from October 23-27. You can get the clues on Range’s Facebook page and at https://www.range.net/pumpkinhunt/.

Weeks added, “Our goal is to have a community event that everybody looks forward to and everybody has fun doing. That’s our goal. That everyone, our local businesses, can be a part of and the same with the local residents. I feel like our Pumpkin fans do just that. They get everyone involved and everyone having fun and they look forward to this event every year.”
