Rodeo club members up at state finals

Thermopolis High School rodeo club members competed in Sheridan on May 27 and in Buffalo on May 28 and 29.

In Sheridan, Roedy Farrell was 4th in bareback riding with a score of 63 points.

Rylee Agar was 5th in barrel racing with a time of 19.149.

Taylor Agar had a time of 19.824 in the barrel racing and she had a time of 28.383 in the pole bending.

Kamryn Farrell was 9th in the goat tying with a time of 9.75.

Brothers McCoy and Jhett Longwell were 10th in the team roping with a time of 13.470.

Jhett Longwell was 8th in tie down calf roping with a time of 16.720.

In Buffalo, Roedy Farrell was 2nd in bareback riding on Saturday with a score of 61 and 3rd Sunday with a score of 65.

Rylee Agar had a time of 18.665 in the barrel racing on Saturday and 20.564 on Sunday.

Taylor Agar had a time of 19.797 in the barrel racing on Saturday and a time of 28.031 in the pole bending. On Sunday, she had a time of 28.332 in the barrel racing and was 9th in the pole bending with a time of 23.119.

Kamryn Farrell placed 4th in goat tying on Saturday with a time of 8.75 and 5th on Sunday with a time of 8.160.

Bridger Peil was 8th in light rifle on Saturday with a score of 223. He was 9th in tie down calf roping on Saturday with a time of 17.920

Jay Ritchey was 10th in light rifle on Saturday with a score of 204

McCoy and Jhett Longwell were 10th in team roping on Saturday with a time of 16.440 and 11th on Sunday with a time of 15.690.

Jhett Longwell had a time of 24.250 in the tie down calf roping on Sunday.

This weekend they will be competing in the state finals in Rock Springs.
