Track season wraps up at state

Bobcat Track and Field members competed at the 3A Championships in Casper last week.

The boys 4x800m relay team of Chris Arends, Cole Keller, Ryan Arends and Ethan Yarrington came in 5th place with a time of 8:37.67.

The girls 4x800m relay team of Jayci Basse, Jayda Griffin, Brooklyn Williams and Alexis Garrison came in 6th with a time of 10:59.16.

Bobcat Seth Needham qualified for the finals in the 400m coming in 6th with a time of 52.84.

Freshman Cody Bomengen came in 11th in the high jump with a height of 5-8.

The boys 4x400m relay team of Chris Arends, Cole Keller, Seth Needham and Ethan Yarrington came in 8th with a time of 3:38.84.

Lady Cat Ina King had an 8th placed finish in the triple jump with a distance of 33-00.00 and a 16th place finish in the long jump with a distance of 13-11.00.

Brooklynn Williams placed 11th in the pole vault with a height of 8-00.00.

Jayci Basse missed qualifying for the finals in the 300H with a time of 53.48.
