Rodeo club members earn top placings

Thermopolis Rodeo Club members competed in Gillette last weekend.

On Saturday, Kamryn Farrell earned her first high school rodeo win in breakaway roping with a time of 2.68, earning 10 points. On Sunday, she came in 13th in the goat tying with a time of 9.54.

Roedy Farrell came in 2nd on Saturday and Sunday in the bareback riding with scores of 73 and 67, earning 9 points for each performance.

Rylee Agar had a time of 14.833 in the barrel racing on Saturday to earn 9th place and 2 points. On Sunday, her time was 15.140.

Taylor Agar had a time of 15.058 in barrel racing on Saturday and 17.576 on Sunday. In the pole bending on Saturday she had a time of 24.838 and on Sunday her time was 22.867 for 10th place and 1 point.

Porter McCumber competed in the boys cutting and earned 4th place on Saturday with a score of 64, earning 7 points and 6th place on Sunday with a score of 66, earning 5 points.

In light rifle on Saturday, Bridger Peil scored a 236, earning 3 points and 8th place. Jay Ritchey came in 13th place a score of 172.

Ritchey and his partner had a time of 28.78 Sunday in the team roping.

On Sunday, Peil had time of 14.090 in the tie down calf roping to earn 10th place and 1 point.
