Annual Demo Derby Saturday

Get revved up for the Thermopolis Demolition Derby this Saturday, August 13 at the Hot Springs County Fairgrounds with the action starting at 6 p.m.

Grand prize is $3,000 with the second place winner taking home $1,500 and third place brings in $800 plus trophies for the top three winners and the M.A.D. Dog trophy.

If you’re more interested in the truck derby, first place garners the winner $1,500, second $750 and third $500. Chain Class derby, first place $500 and second place $250.

And not to be left out, there is also the Power Wheels Derby for the little ones ages 4-10.

Advance tickets are $15 for adults, and kids ages 5 and under Free. If you purchase at the gate, adults will be $20. Tickets are available at the Chamber of Commerce, Discover Thermopolis, Black Bear Café, Storyteller, and Carquest Auto Parts. Online tickets are available at Eventbrite.
