Wyo Laffs Comedy show coming to Thermopolis

Wyo Laffs Comedy will hold a family-friendly show benefiting the Hot Springs Foundation at the Thermopolis VFW Saturday, January 29. Doors open at 6 p.m., the show is from 7-9 p.m. Comedians Daren Bulow and Don Haines will be performing. Tickets are $20 at Storyteller or call 864-3192.

Bulow and Haines have been doing comedy for a combined 13 years. Two years ago they teamed up to do comedy fundraising shows. Bulow is the “Hunting and Fishing Comedian” whose clean family-friendly comedy reflects the way of life of hunters, fishermen, dog owners, and the spouses who put up with them. His real-life stories about his (mis)adventures in the great out-of-doors appeal to all audiences.

Haines is “Poor Don” who does comedy about his family and misfortunes in life. Don’s prom date left him at prom, his house burned down on Christmas Day, and he got a cancer diagnosis on his 41st birthday.

The event is benefiting the Hot Springs Foundation, which was created by the Thermopolis-Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce and has its own board members with the mission to benefit the citizens and economy of Hot Springs County. The foundation was created to be able to work with other organizations/clubs to help obtain funding for projects to benefit the county.
