Boys dominate Glenrock at home

Bobcat boys basketball varsity and junior varsity teams both got wins on Saturday at home. 

The varsity team had a blow out against Glenrock with a final score of 72-28. 

There were four Bobcats that contributed to buckets by shooting into the double digits. 

Passing, spacing and off ball movement had improved tremendously this week helping the Cats with the win.  The Cats showed their defense side with full court press for most of the game devastating their opponents offense. 

There were over thirty turnovers from Glenrock contributing to easy points made for the Cats. 

Coach Shane Corpening commented “We played really good team basketball this weekend.”

Hardy Johnson scored 24 points with 10 assists and 7 steals.  McCoy Longwell had 17 points, Adley Coyne with 13 points and 6 rebounds, Corbin Simeral had 10 points, 7 steals, and 7 rebounds.

The JV Cats also won against Glenrock 35-7.  

The Cats will be traveling after Christmas break on January 7 and 8 for the Winter Classic.  The Freshman will be traveling to Buffalo on January 8.
