Hannah Boren shows auction attendees a raccoon cookie jar as it is being auctioned off. The auction was held for Lauri Olsen, who was diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer, at the HSC Fair Building last Friday night. Baked goods, cookie jars, a fully processed beef, and locally made quilts were among some of the many items donated to be auctioned off. The auction was very well attended and raised more than $50,000; Thermopolis' highest earning cookie jar auction in recent history.
