Submit your ideas for future dinosaur facility

Thermopolis has amazing paleontological and geological wonders and is host to the 6th best dinosaur museum in the world. This last nomination was made by CNN.com and over the past few years we have been given many accolades, including 100 of the world’s best vacations by LIFE Books. Thermopolis is very lucky to have such a world-class treasure. What makes us unique is the proximity to our dig sites. With one of the wealthiest dinosaur bone finds in the world, we offer many digging programs such as Dig for the Day and Shovel Ready digs.

The Wyoming Dinosaur Center has been a part of the Thermopolis community for 20 years. Although we are very close to our dig sites, our museum is not in the right location for drive-by traffic and we are growing out of our existing building.

With the purchase of the Red Rock Business Park just south of Thermopolis along Highway 20, we are hoping to build a new state of the art facility, but this is not something that can happen overnight. This location will be perfect to showcase what our community has to offer. We want people to stay and play in Thermopolis.

We encourage you to submit your ideas, thoughts and design ideas. Please send them to Angie Guyon P.O. Box 868 Thermopolis, WY 82443.

Thank you for your continued support. I will be available for questions after the Governor’s Conference in February.
