Responded to a equipment fire at 540 Buffalo Creek Secondary.

Monday, Nov. 23

9:00 a.m. A female received an email that she was delinquent on her Payday loan and if she did not pay there would be a warrant for her arrest. The victim paid over $275 before becoming suspicious on the legitimacy of the email. The victim was advised to cease any communication with the scammer.

6:38 p.m. Report of a lone bale of hay in the road at mile marker 136 on Highway 20. When the deputy arrived on scene the bale had been moved.

Tuesday, Nov. 24

5:50 p.m. Report of a white truck weaving into traffic on Highway 20 North around mile marker 138. The deputy was unable to locate the vehicle. The information was forwarded onto Highway Patrol.

Wednesday, Nov. 25

4:24 p.m. Report of a red and white suburban doing cookies in Hot Springs State Park. The vehicle was last seen traveling by the high school. The deputy was unable to locate.

Saturday, Nov. 28

3:00 p.m. In the area of Rimrock Drive a Honda Pilot slid off the road and struck a stone sign. Both driver and passenger airbags deployed, and there were no injuries.

4:37 p.m. Report of a male and female arguing two and half miles from Thermopolis on on Highway 20 North. The reporting party claimed the male attempted to push the female into traffic. The responding deputy found the male walking on the railroad tracks by the golf course irrigation pumps, and the female had returned home. The male was given a warning about trespassing onto the railroad tracks. Contact was made with the female and she said she was okay.

Saturday, Nov. 28

9:40 p.m. A female called and reported her son slid through a fence at Red Lane. While attempting to make the turn, he lost control due to the snow and ice and was unable to stay on the road. He went through a fence and pulling up several fence posts. A state accident report was filed.

Tuesday, Nov. 24

12:10 p.m. A female resident in the area of Belvedere Street called and reported she had found a hypodermic syringe on her front porch.

Wednesday, Nov. 25

10:15 a.m. A resident reported they had been receiving strange charges from their cell phone carrier. They were instructed to call the carrier and find out what the charges were for. The resident also had the bank change their account number.

10:44 a.m. Report of a hotel room being damaged and the occupant had left without checking out. The occupant was located in another motel, and they had agreed to pay for the damages.

1:18 p.m. The police department has several unclaimed bicycles in their impound. Contact them if you think one might be yours.

Thursday, Nov. 26

2:20 a.m. A resident who is currently on probation was drinking and in violation of their probation. The individuals turned themselves in for the infraction. Officers performed a breathalyzer test, and the result was positive. The information was turned over to probation and parole.

11:40 a.m. A vehicle leaving the south exit at Maverik collided with a second vehicle due to the snow and ice. One driver was cited for failure to yield the other for no proof of insurance.

Saturday, Nov. 28

12:20 a.m. A male reported his ex-girlfriend had assaulted him. He said, after accusing him of seeing other women, she struck him once in the face and once in the groin.

Saturday, Nov. 28

1:48 a.m. Report of a vehicle doing doughnuts in the area of Carter Road. The vehicle was possibly a blue Dodge truck. Officer was unable to locate.

8 a.m. Report of five gunshots in the 100 block of Arapahoe Street. Responding officer was unable to locate.

Monday, Nov. 30

10:50 a.m. A 2006 PT Cruiser on a tow truck came undone and collided with the back of the tow truck when it stopped.

Births

Knox Demunbrun was born Friday, November 20, 2015, at Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital to Amy Vega and Robert Demunbrun of Worland, Wyo.

He weighed 6 pounds, 2 ounces, and was 18.5 inches long.

Grandparents are Moses and Emma Vega and Bob and Monica Demunbrun, all of Worland, Wyo.

Epyfanie Raygn Forrest-Lane was born Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital to Misty Lane and William Forrest of Butte, Mont.

She weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces, and was 20.5 inches long.

Grandparents are Moises Huerta and Brenda Conner of Butte, Mont. and William and Carolyn Forrest of Palmer, Ala.
