Samelson available to help job seekers

One of the newest members of the Thermopolis-Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce is Susanne Samelson, an executive recruiter who comes to Thermopolis from New York.

Samelson works as an independent contractor who matches up potential employees with employers looking for upper-middle and upper echelon executives to join their team.

Most of her work involves the not-for-profit sector, looking for fundraising experts, those experienced in developing various programs and other staff positions.

Samelson came to Thermopolis from Manhattan, NY and retained most of her previous East Coast clientele, and working toward developing her own presence in a regional setting is keeping her busy.

“We are having a ball,” Samelson said. “We’ve been embraced here and I’m really enjoying helping with the Smoking Waters Art Guild and Main Street Thermopolis.”

She is happy to help those looking to join the workforce locally by taking a look at resumes and giving suggestions on improvements to help you get hired.
